Codes drop Runes. Credits come from play. Spend on the kit you will badge, not the poster you liked.
Public code trackers treat Runes as a core currency next to Credits. Promo strings such as GIMMERUNES grant Runes (50 on the last widely listed working code). Credits come from matches. What Runes buy
Tracker write-ups place Runes in the monster-parts / monster-hunter shop. That is account power for the hidden role and, indirectly, for Survivors who have to face those unlocks. We do not publish a fake price list the studio did not print. We do tell you how to spend:
- Badge first. Jack of All Trades wants ten wins on Nightweaver, Prototype, and Wraith. Feed the kit you are on this week.
- Cosmetics later. Wendigo (N021) and Abomination (N020) posters are not a fourth starter.
- Do not spread 50 Runes across three unfinished rows. One complete kit beats three 20% bars.

Codes versus grinding
GIMMERUNES is a voucher, not a career. Matches still pay Credits. A quiet code month is normal — the studio dropped LAUNCH at public release (now dead) and a Rune gift later. How this ties to a trial
Runes do not repair breaker boxes. They do not drink serum for you. They do not open the hatch. Spend them in the lobby, then play the loop in Getting Started. A rich shop and a missed extract is still a loss. Put the wallet away before the first blackout. The match planner has a Rune tick for a reason: claim in the lobby, spend on one kit, then look at vials and power. Shop menus during gas are how people miss the hatch. Close the shop. Look at the door. Extract if cycle two has already started.

Scripts that promise infinite Runes
Those are stealers. The scripts hub exists as a warning, not a shop. Redeem in the official Codes panel only.
If Claim returns invalid, you already used the code, typed it wrong, or it expired. Do not open a “Rune generator.” Open how to redeem once, then play a match for Credits.
Later IDs such as Abomination and Wendigo will eat a Rune stack if you let posters drive the shop. Finish the starter columns first. The players hub is the roster bible; this page is only the wallet.
Claim the string. Spend on the badge column you are actually playing. Queue. The architects already priced the night; you just needed a budget.
