Nocturne Controls

Nocturne uses Roblox’s standard movement layer on an R6 morph, then adds a lobby HUD that hides the one button everyone searches for. This page is the device guide: how to walk, how to interact, where Codes lives, and how not to fumble a breaker or a serum vial because you were fighting the camera. It is not a custom keybind dump the studio never published — we will not invent F-keys.

PC defaults that actually matter

Until you rebind Roblox itself, expect:

• WASD to move, Shift to sprint if the experience enables it, Space to jump.
• Mouse to look. In a social-deduction horror game, look at people, not at the floor. Vial drinks happen at human height.
• E or the on-screen interact prompt to use breakers, loot, vials, and the hatch. If your bind is different, test it in the lobby before the first cycle.
• Roblox ESC for the platform menu. That menu does not redeem codes. Codes are an experience button.

Voice chat is not supported on the listing. You will not find a push-to-talk bind that saves you. Type short facts or say nothing.

The Codes button (lobby)

Top-right of the lobby HUD. Click Codes, paste, Claim. Full walkthrough: how to redeem. Live strings: codes hub.

On ultrawide or tiny UI scale, that cluster can sit under the Roblox chat. Close chat, then look again before you assume the game “has no codes.”

Mobile

• Left stick to move, right side to look. Play in landscape. Portrait hides the top-right Codes control and makes vial checks miserable.
• Interact is a UI button, not a keyboard E. Keep a thumb free. If both thumbs are on movement and camera, you will walk past a hatch like a tourist.
• Do not open the Roblox hamburger when you meant Codes. Different menus, different outcomes.
• Haptic chaos during blackouts is normal. Pre-aim the next room so you are not steering from zero when gas hits.

If a friend asks “is it hard on iPad,” the honest answer is: the rules are the same, the HUD is smaller. Practise one Survivor game touching only breakers before you take the hidden role.

Habits that win trials

Interact discipline. Start a breaker only when you can still camera-sweep the door. Staring at a progress ring is how Wraith gets a free meal.

Inventory hands. If you pick up a tool, know which button drops or uses it before the lights die. The Ruined Cathedral art shows a flashlight on the floor for a reason — tools exist, and fumbling them is a tell.

Vote UI. When the social phase opens, vote with a fact or skip. Accidental votes on mobile are real. Double-check the name.

Sensitivity. High look-speed helps vial checks. Too high and you cannot track a night form in a long hall. Tune in the lobby, not after the first scream.

Accessibility and comfort

The maturity listing includes moderate blood, fear, and violence. If you need lower intensity, use Roblox’s own experience settings where available, reduce headphones, and play with people you can text. The wiki cannot add a colourblind mode the game did not ship; it can tell you that shape and motion matter more than hue when spotting a drink.

R6 morphs also mean some avatars look similar in the dark. Rely on names and paths, not on a hat you thought you remembered.

After the binds feel boring

Go play the actual pages: survive, play Nocturne, tier list. Controls are a solved problem once you can Claim a code, start a box, and sip a vial without opening ESC. Everything after that is social.
