Nocturne Guides

How to last two blackouts, read the lobby, and hatch out — or make sure nobody does.

Guides Hub

Nocturne looks like a chase game until the lights die. Then it is a social test with a monster in the roster. This hub collects every practical guide on the wiki so you can pick a job before you queue: learn the loop, fix power, watch vials, or drink the serum yourself.

The experience is a 3–8 player Roblox trial (server size 8) built by Nocturnal Group. Most of you are Survivors. One of you is secretly a Nocturne — human while the lights hold, a hunter when they fail. Two cycles. Two blackouts. One hatch. If even one Survivor leaves, Survivors win. If the monster clears the lobby first, the Nocturne wins. Everything on this wiki exists to make that sentence muscle memory.

Start with Getting Started if this is your first load-in. Come back here when you already know the HUD and want a specific problem solved.

First hour

  • Getting Started — lobby, roles, win conditions, what to do before the first gas cloud.
  • Controls — movement, interaction, and why you should not fight the camera during a blackout.
  • How to Survive — Survivor mindset: grouping, vial watch, hatch discipline.
  • How to Escape — one hatch, cycle-two extract, who actually goes out.
  • How to Find the Nocturne — drinks, skipped power, votes that do not throw.

Redeem codes in the same session so Runes are not sitting unclaimed while you read.

Objectives inside a trial

  • Breaker Boxes — Survivors shorten blackouts by repairing power. That is the main clock you control.
  • Serum Guide — the hidden player must drink without witnesses. Survivors must notice who lingered.
  • Ruined Cathedral — the official map showcase: sightlines, loot rhythm, and where people disappear.

These three pages answer the search queries how to fix, how to get serum, and how to complete a cycle without padding.

Playing the monster

The Jack of All Trades badge asks for ten wins on each starter. Use the monster guide plus the individual pages so you are not learning a kit mid-wipe.

How these guides were built

Facts come from the live Roblox description, the public launch timeline (alpha in December 2025, public launch May 2026, last studio update 10 September 2026), official social posts, and public gameplay such as the starter-killer showcase. We do not invent ability numbers. Where a kit is only shown in motion, we describe play patterns and send you to the players hub for the character page.

If a patch changes breaker counts, serum rules, or hatch timing, we update the matching guide and the updates hub. Until then, treat this hub as the map of intent: Survive, sabotage, or hunt — pick one page and go play.

Between matches, the suspicion checklist and match planner turn these articles into a lobby routine. Scripts exist for players who insist on extras; they are a ban risk and they ruin the social game. Read them last, not first.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Which Nocturne guide should I read first?

Start with Getting Started, then either how to survive or how to play Nocturne depending on the role you want.

Do I need videos?

Some guides embed one official or gameplay video in the middle of the article. You can finish every page without pressing play.

Is this for the Roblox game or another Nocturne?

This wiki covers only Nocturnal Group’s Roblox experience. It is not League of Legends, the Steam rhythm RPG, or the 1999 PC game.
