Letters for the badge trio. Honesty for N021. Always scored against the hatch, not against highlight reels.
This is the monster half of the tier list hub. We rank Nightweaver, Wraith, and Prototype because the studio put them on a badge and a public showcase. Wendigo sits in a holding row until a patch or shop makes its match role obvious. If you need playbooks, use the players pages. If you need the drink, use serum.

S — Nightweaver
Nightweaver opens the killer showcase and the badge list. Community footage talks about spider presence and a voice that tilts lobbies. In a 3–8 player social game, fear is a mechanic: Survivors stack, stack is food, food is a short list of names for the hatch. She is S because a competent player can turn architecture into a nest without winning a fair 1v1.
She is not S if you skip breakers in human form and get voted on vibe. S-rank still drinks unseen.
A — Wraith
Wraith is the doorway. Gas plus “escape to the next area” is a free diagram of where people will run. Quiet players who understand controls and headcounts will farm wins here. Loud players will get read instantly. That skill split is why Wraith is A, not automatic S.
A — Prototype
Prototype shares the same trial physics. The lab-accident identity is a good cover and a bad chat habit. If you lean into “I’m new / I’m clumsy” while always being at vials, Survivors who read the survive guide will call you. Equal to Wraith on tools, slightly easier to socially catch. A-rank with a warning label.
Holding — Wendigo (N021)
Official ID, official antlers, official thumbnails. Not a badge starter. Forcing an S because the poster slaps would be fanfiction. When public play exists in volume, this row becomes a letter. Until then, if you load it, obey the same monster guide as everyone else.
What would move a name
- A patch that changes blackout length (breakers matter more or less).
- A map rotation that is all naves (Nightweaver down, Wraith up) or all clutter (inverse).
- A shop tax that makes one starter free and another buried — then the badge grind, not the letter, is the real rank.
- Population. A 1-player server listing is not a tournament. We weight consistency in public rules, not a 200-lobby sample we do not have.

How Survivors should read this list
If the hidden player is likely Nightweaver, do not nest in a chapel. If Wraith, do not funnel through one door after gas. If Prototype, audit incompetence. Then ignore the letter and play for one extract. Monster tiers do not override the hatch. Cross-link: Survivor tiers.
Spending Runes
Codes such as GIMMERUNES are shop vouchers. Buy the kit you will play ten times, not the letter you want to screenshot. Jack of All Trades is thirty wins. Tiers are a queue hint.
If your five-stack only queues Nightweaver because of this letter, you will still need Prototype and Wraith wins for the badge. Use S-tier as a comfort pick for ranked-feeling nights, not as a permission slip to ignore the roster.

Who is the best Nocturne?
Nightweaver is the S-tier snapshot among starters. Best still means ‘played correctly with a hidden drink,’ not a free win.
Why are Wraith and Prototype both A?
Same trial rules. Wraith has a higher stealth ceiling; Prototype is easier to socially read. Neither is a starter you can skip.
When will Wendigo get a letter?
When public match patterns exist beyond key art. Watch updates and the Wendigo page.
Should I only play S-tier for the badge?
No. The badge needs ten wins on each starter. Use this list for queue feel, not for skipping Prototype.
